DESCRIPTION:Montana Range Days is a three day event that teaches youth and adults about the rangeland. The first day is the public speaking contest\, the second is the educational workshops\, and the third day the contest testing the those who were in the workshops the previous day about what topics covered. The event is hosted for two years in one location before moving on to the next place. The event reflects the rangelands of the location.

SUMMARY:8th Annual Matador Ranch Science and Land Management Symposium
DESCRIPTION:On behalf of the staff at The Nature Conservancy’s Matador Ranch\, I would like to invite you to the 8th Annual Matador Ranch Science and Land Management Symposium. \nThe symposium will be held on Wednesday\, June 13th from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm\, at the Matador Ranch. \nThe symposium is an opportunity to engage researchers and land managers (private landowners\, agency\, and non-profit).  Presentations are focused on current or recently completed research\, land management tools and innovations\, and opportunities for cooperation between conservation and ranching communities in the grasslands and sagebrush steppe in the northern Great Plains and beyond. \nThe day will include about six presentations\, 20 to 30 minutes in length\, in the morning and a more in-depth series of presentations and discussion in the afternoon. \nLunch will be provided.  Please let Jolynn Messerly at jmesserly@tnc.org your availability to join us or not\, so that we can plan appropriately for food and follow-up correspondence.  If you know of others that would be interested\, feel free to forward this to them\, but request that they connect with me so I can include them in follow-up emails. \nBelow is a link for the full symposium agenda: \n2018 symposium agenda \n
